Prayers for a quiet weekend
Prayers for a quiet weekend…….
Ok….so today….what can I say…..It has been a day!!! A lot of meetings with doctors today! First and foremost Addi seems better today and a little more awake. She has slept most of the day but was aroused enough to do a little OT up in her chair and has watched her iPad for a few minutes today! Praise the LORD! Last night we couldn’t get her aroused at all and was afraid she was headed back to ICU so we are thanking God for every little improvement!!! There is just so much to her care and as the doctor stated today…”she is a very complicated case.”
Her night was rough with low oxygen levels, high respirations and almost going back on oxygen but after my plea with God at 3am, her oxygen level shot back up around 90ish and stayed there. I mean she had the nasal cannula in her hand ready to put on her nose when all of a sudden she went from an O2 of 87 to 92…..God heard my plea I am sure of it and was showing me that He is still here and is hearing the prayers being said for Addi. I did not sleep much because I watched her so closely and just scared to not be near her in case something happened. Today she has thrown up all of her feeds that are given to her through the NG tube but docs said her gut is just not working yet and just needs some time to heal but needs the feeds to stimulate it.
So let me get to some good news because God knows we needed it after the past couple of days. First of all her liver numbers are looking SO GOOD that the Hepatology team of doctors have dismissed her from their care. Just so everyone knows that has commented and sent messages….her ammonia levels have been checked daily. She gets a full liver work up daily to see where her numbers are being that she was in liver failure. Her ammonia level and bilirubin numbers are now to a NORMAL level! Another shout of PRAISE! The doctors are saying that although liver numbers are better the CT shows the bigger picture in that her organs (liver, intestine, bowel, stomach and lungs) are still very sick and took a huge hit as they began to shutdown…they are inflamed, enlarged, obstructed and just not working like they are supposed to. It is going to take time….a lot of time but God is healing her day by day. There will be set backs but I am just believing that soon….very soon she will be better. The doctors explained today why they thing she is so lethargic (too much to explain) so we will see over the next few days.
Please continue to pray for Addi and that she will not have anymore setbacks but will start progressing toward recovery. We are overwhelmed at the love and prayers for Addi. Everyday I am blown away by the number of people that pray for and love a little girl they don’t even know….Thank you! Have a wonderful Friday night…..hug your kids very tight and let them know how much you love them. Thank God for their good health and just don’t sweat the small stuff because life is too short and you never know what the next day holds! I would give anything to be outside running and playing with Addi right now, have her sassing me or just see her smile would be amazing. Take advantage of the time you have to make memories and spend time laughing with your kids! Have a great weekend! Much love…LaLa

Addi's awake, Praise The Lord!!! Love this little girl, she is a fighter!!!! Those beautiful eyes and that smile will melt your heart ❤ Lord I thank You for bringing her this far, You know her battle Lord and we are believing You The Almighty Physician for A Miracle, for it is by Your Stripes we are healed.➕Lord continue to walk Addi through this storm. Just as You did for the disciples when You told them to get in the boat and You got in the boat and said let's go to the other side. You went to sleep Lord and a ferocious storm came and the disciples got scared and woke You, saying Lord are You gonna let us perish.Jesus stood and said " Yea of little faith;why are you afraid? " "HUSH" and at that moment the wind, waves, rain, and lightening⚡ (the storm) stopped immediately!!! La La I want you to know there is calm after the storm and as long is Jesus is in the boat with Addi she will not perish!!!! ❤I do believe that there is a miracle a coming. Jesus is gonna show up and show out in Addi's life. Leaving her with such a testimony to tell the 🌎 world!!!! La La, Your faith will carry you, You are an Awesome mother and such an inspiration to us all!!!❤ Just continue to trust Jesus, lay Addi in his arms, his nailed scarred hands will carry her, even when we think there is no hope. Just one simple prayer he will hear. Amen Praying and Praising Jesus everyday for Addi and Your family❤❤ Love y'all❤❤!!! Just can't hardly wait for your updates to see how Addi is, she is on my mind all day! Praying for a healing, restful night for you both.🙏💕💤
So very appreciative Mama to get an up date on wee Addi .. I keep her before the Lord all through the day .. Addi doesn't know me but she has a new friend .. I say to Jesus "be with my friend Addi please Lord, she needs you right now to fight for her" (as I get quickened I claim all His riches in Glory for her Amen) … Mama He is right there … so we join all our prayers for Addi's total recovery and send them before the Lord Jesus' glorious Throne of Mercy and Grace .. collectively believing He really is the God the impossible and mover of mountains and restorer and much much more .. Much love (in NZ love is AROHA in Maori – native language) to you Mama, and your family and of course to sweetheart Addi xxx
Praising God for the small steps of improvement Addi is making! You are all in my prayers daily and I am trusting as you are in the mighty power, lovingkindness and faithfulness of our Lord to touch Addi's precious little body. Much love and hugs to all of you!
I apologise for the long post in advance. I've been praying for Addi and your family for the past couple of months ever since a friend of mine shared this need on her Facebook page. My heart broke when I read she is only two years old. My grandson is only two also. He has a seven year old sister and both of them are miracle babies. Except for God neither one would be here. You see their mother – my daughter – was diagnosed with neuroblastoma just one week after her first birthday. The cancer was wrapped around the arteries that feed blood to the liver and kidneys. The doctors could not remove it. She underwent chemotherapy and radiation and tests showed that the cancer was still there. The doctors were at a loss as to where to go with her treatment so they asked the surgeon to go in and take another look. For a full month my daughter had no further treatment but she had many people praying for her. When the surgeon went in he could not find any trace of the cancer. It was gone. God healed her. I truly believe that He will heal Addi too. I know her journey is different from my daughter's but God hasn't changed. He is holding Addi in His hands just as he has always held my sweet girl and he is not letting go. God hears all the prayers being said for sweet little Addi and He will answer. If you can, go on to YouTube and listen to the song "Raise A Hallelujah". It will encourage your heart. It has become my new favorite prayer song . God bless! I will continue to pray for Addi's complete healing.
This post has made my day! So happy that she is doing better! Sending lots of hugs! ❤️❤️Continued prayers!!
LaLa, praying for you too!

Dear Holy Father, you are a good and gracious God who loves us very much. Give us confidence in knowing that you will walk alongside us to guide our every decision and provide wisdom, strength and encouragement for each caregiving moment. Help us to remember that when we feel overwhelmed or lonely, tired or anxious, you are always there to lift our burdens and our spirits. Thank you for hearing our whispered prayers when we are weak and our joyous praise when we have experienced a victory.
