NOT TODAY SATAN

Have you ever been in a battle where the enemy is attacking you at every turn?  Have you doubted everything because your mind is in such turmoil?  Have you been in the battle and not known what else to do?   I am going to tell you the truth, that has been me this week.  Satan has attacked me in every way possible.  Satan has attacked me through circumstances, relationships, health, emotionally and any way he could.  When Satan begins to attack you, he makes you doubt yourself.  He uses every possible thing he can to torment your heart and mind to make you doubt yourself and God.  The enemy wants to make you feel defeated because if he can do that, he has won.  He has gotten you right where he wants you.  He has just stolen your joy, peace, faith and has you doubting God.  But you know what?  We have the power to say…NOT TODAY SATAN!  Say it!  Satan get the behind me because you can’t win!  God is greater than anything the enemy brings against you so stand firm and don’t let him defeat you.

 

When you are battling the enemy’s lies and going through an attack from Satan himself, you have to dismiss the voice of the enemy and know what is TRUTH!  Go into combat and put the enemy where he belongs….under your feet.  Are you going to listen to the lies of Satan or will you listen to the truth of God and put it into practice in your life?  You have to remember that the enemy is seeking whom he can devour and if you don’t go to war with him, he will devour you and defeat you.  You can’t be weak when you go to battle.  You go with the full armor of God and with His truth.

 

Fear and anxiety do not come from God.  God brings peace.  The enemy hates peace so he is going to do everything possible to take it from you.  He is going to cause people to come against you that you never dreamed would.  He is going to make you fearful and anxious to steal your joy.  He is going to make you doubt the promises of God through your circumstances and the storms of life.  He is going to try and bring you to the very bottom of the pit so that he can destroy you and the peace that God wants for you. He is going to bring division.  Satan is the father of lies, he is a deceiver, and he brings confusion.  Don’t let HIM!!!

 

What do we do to defeat the enemy and find the peace of God?  For me, God showed me to simply walk away from the situation and have peace.  Sometimes we can’t fix the problem, but God can and that is when we need the wisdom to just give it to Him!  He can do what we can’t do, and that is when we have to trust Him.  There are times we have to seek wise counsel so that we can have wisdom in our situation.  Other times we must go into battle with the enemy with our sword in hand and be led by the word of God.  Know Gods word and just do what His word says.  Always be led by the Holy Spirit and pray without ceasing.  He will lead you, guide you and give you peace if you just look to Him.  When you listen to Satan, you will become hopeless and confused in your current situation but when you begin to listen to God, you will begin to see clarity for your life and be able to move forward.  The author of confusion can’t dwell where the Spirit of God lives!  I learned this week that if it takes your peace, causes confusion, steals your joy and brings division…..it’s definitely not of God!

 

So, when the enemy attacks, follow God at all cost and let Him guide you in your situation. Keep your peace!  If there is no peace then you know….it is not God!  Stop believing the lies of the enemy and listen to the truth of the Holy Spirit.  Be bold and say…..NOT TODAY SATAN…..but not tomorrow either!

 

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father I come to you today and I am weary from the attack of Satan.  God I need you today.  I need your peace. I need your joy. I need your truth.  I need you to take control of my situation and turn it around for your good.  Satan has attacked me in every way possible and I need you to help me defeat him so that I can have peace and know that no matter what happens, you are in control.  Guard my heart and mind against the attacks of the enemy and make me strong enough to resist his attempts to bring destruction in my life.  I need you Lord; I need you more than I have ever needed you.  Rescue me right now from the pit that Satan has kept me in and set me free so that I can live a life of victory in Christ Jesus.  I ask all these things in your name, Amen!
