RESTLESS NIGHT…..

Addi had a restless night last night. She was having delirium, hurting and just cried out in her sleep for hours. After hours of this, they finally gave her something to help her sleep. I’m a little delirious today from lack of sleep too. Lol!

She has been hurting today and crying that her tummy hurt but had times of talking and even saw a little smile. I miss that smile!!! The delirium started again a few hours ago and she’s talking out of her head again in her sleep and a little when she’s awake. She’s watched her cartoons in between naps and had a visitor, Tidings the therapy dog. Her bilirubin continues to go up but overall she’s better than she was three days ago. We will take the baby steps to getting better rather than declining any day. She’s really delirious right now so they are giving her some sleep meds so please pray she can rest. I hate seeing her like this but some of the things coming out of her mouth is hilarious!!! I just want her to be able to rest.

Ok I’m going to try and say something as nicely as I possibly can. I’ve gotten several messages telling me it is time to let Addi go and to stop prolonging her suffering. I will respectfully ask that you keep your comments to yourself if you can’t say something encouraging. I really don’t need that right now. I appreciate you keeping those comments and thoughts to yourself and let us make those decisions if it ever came to that. But it’s NOT!!!!

The doctors are pleased with her progress and continue to watch her very closely in ICU. It’s now a wait, watch and pray that the liver recovers. They didn’t think she would make it but God and this little WARRIOR showed them differently! She has a long way to go but she’s got this….I just know it! I’m going to praise Him through this storm until we take Addi home!

Thank you all once again for the love, prayers and support as we continue to help Addi fight! She is so strong and courageous and I thank God daily for the blessing of this child.
