There is Power in HOPE!

In what or who are you placing your hope in?  HOPE is such a small word yet has so much power in it.  When you think about HOPE you understand that this powerful word means that your human soul can turn to God in every situation and live in the expectancy that His promises are going to come to past because you believe the word of God that says, “Be strong and take heart, all you hope for is in the Lord.”Psalm 31:24.  Right now many have lost hope, many are hoping for good health and for the world to go back to what it once was a few months ago.  We have learned that in just a matter of days our lives can be turned upside down and the hopes of many have been clouded.  But for those who believe in God, our hope is drawn from something much deeper.  As a Christian we do not rely on the government, our jobs, other people or the circumstances in which we find ourselves in but instead we look to God who has shown us that He is our shield and our source of help in times of trouble and that even when all around us is falling apart we have hope in Him for a better tomorrow. 

The hope of God and the expectation of what God is going to do in our lives is what we must cling to.  Whatever circumstances we face, there is hope through Jesus Christ.  Waiting on God to move on our behalf can be filled with eager anticipation but that is where our faith becomes action and we are determined to believe in the power of God even when everything is crashing down around us……that is the power of Hope!  Hope tells us that the worst can happen but I will still have hope.  God will bring us to a place of peace knowing that right now HE is working it out so we can make it through the most difficult of times to a place of victory. 

Our hope and trust must be firmly grounded in God, who never changes, never fails and that is always there even in the times that we are struggling in life.  We must hold to Gods word that He will sustain us through all of life’s ups and downs.  Remember friends…..God sees our struggles, He loves us and He will sustain us through every storm.

Trust is what brings hope to a troubled heart so we must trust the ONE who holds our future.  God offers us hope for our troubled heart even when we feel our trouble is so deep and our pain so overwhelming that all hope is lost. God can bring us to a new place in our lives and renew our hope when we give it all to him and trust Him.  With faith, we are able to move through any trial we face with hope and confidence.  God will give you rest and renew your HOPE just give it all to him today.

Prayer of Hope:
Dear Heavenly Father I come to you today and I ask you to renew my hope because without you I can not face these troubled times alone.  God, I am at the end of my rope so I ask in this difficult time that you to give me peace and strength to face every adversity in life and overcome the obstacles that I may face.  God I need you to fill my heart with kindness, with love and hope for a better tomorrow.  I ask you Lord to carry me in this time and let me see your plan so that your purpose can be fulfilled in my life as I walk in hope and expectation toward all you have for my future.  In Jesus name I pray….Amen!
