Addi woke me up at 4:30 am to change a poopy diaper! Yay for poop that means the bowels are waking up and working. She didn’t go back to sleep and we stayed up laughing, playing and talking! It felt so good to see my sweet Addi girl coming back and being herself again. It’s been a month since I have seen this side of her. Then she asked me for FOOD! This baby hasn’t had food in almost a month. I ordered her grits and she kept it down along with water and tea!!! Hasn’t vomited at all today!!! Yay for no vomit….that means her stomach is waking up! Praise God! 

For the first time in almost a month she’s been awake and interacting ALL DAY with only a small nap. She’s now sitting up in a chair watching her iPad which she requested to do herself. Yeah it’s been a BIG day for our girl!!! 

To say I’ve been smiling, thanking God and rejoicing all day would be an understatement. Her doctors and nurses are amazed at how good she looks just from this past Friday and how alert she is and they are all smiles with me today. I can’t even begin to thank everyone for all the prayers that are being said for Addi! Keep Praying that she continues to improve so we can go HOME! We are so homesick. 

Now we pray for good scans with NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE! They are planning for MIBG scan at the end of the week if she continues to improve and can handle the sedation. I’m just thanking God for performing a miracle in Addi’s life and I thank you for praying her through this time. We are so blessed! When the doctors give you little hope…you tell them we serve a God bigger then any sickness or disease and claim your healing! 

Don’t ever tell me to let her go….cause God’s not finished with her yet! It’s been a GOOD, GOOD day! 💜💜
