Monday, March 11…..Today has been a good, good day! Addi had the pic line in her arm removed, had the Foley catheter removed and after 17 long, hard days in ICU she has been transferred out of ICU and to a regular room! Can I get a shout of PRAISE!! She is not very happy and hasn’t smiled in days but it is coming!!! There were days the doctors did not think she would make it and it has been a rollercoaster ride but God is healing her day by day! I cannot begin to tell you how overwhelmed with JOY my heart is today. Some great things happened today that we have been waiting and praying for along with transferring out of ICU and Addi getting better each day. I am walking on cloud nine and praising God for answered prayers. The doctor says she still has a ways to go but they are so pleased with her progress. All the nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners and respiratory therapists all came to her room to wish her well and see her off to her new room. I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing the people are that have cared for Addi. Her critical care team along with all of the specialty teams have been phenomenal and each one of them along with the prayers of thousands and a faithful God, SAVED Addi’s life! My heart is so full!
